Honeymoon Bay, Moreton Island (Mulgumpin)
Moreton Island (Mulgumpin) is close to my home in Brisbane and is a favourite getaway spot. Honeymoon Bay is located at the northern point of the island and is a little cove-like paradise set just in from the otherwise rugged coastline. The rock formations are amazing and the colours in the rocks and the foliage on the mountain above are just spectacular. I recorded some of the colour in my journal en plein-air and was just mesmerised by how vibrant the landscape is.
