What does Limited Edition mean?
‘Limited Edition’ prints have a limit of the number of times they are printed (25) which makes them more valuable. These artworks are accompanied by a signed, numbered and titled Certificate of Authenticity. I will also sign, title and edition the front of your print BY REQUEST. So, if this is something you would like, please make a note in your Order.
Are the prints stretched or framed and can you arrange this?
As standard, our paper prints are not mounted or framed and our canvas prints are not stretched or framed. They are rolled in acid-free paper with white gloves and sent to you in an industrial-strength tube. We understand people sometimes want a very specific type of framing. If this is you, we recommend using your local professional framer to frame your print to your desired taste. Please have your Framer remove the print from the tube, as we cannot be responsible for any damage and/or fingerprint residue on the print due to poor handling.
If you would like us to frame or stretch your print for you, we are more than happy to arrange one of our options for you, which are available upon selection in the Shop. All of our prints are framed with 2mm plexiglass. This is the safest way to transport your artwork around the country. Paper prints are mounted onto a 5mm foam core and framed with 20mm spacers in a shadow box frame. Canvas prints are stretched onto a 38mm stretcher and framed in a floater frame.
Will the colours of my print look the same as the image on the website?
My printer is a specialist fine art printer, so the colours of the images on my website are a very close match to the original artwork and are printed on Museum grade Cotton Rag Paper and fine weave Canvas, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. However, please take into account that viewing an image on a phone, tablet or computer screen may alter some colours depending on your computer and screen set-up. On our website, we have also provided pictures of the art on various backgrounds to further help with the colour comparison process.
All prints are quoted in Image Size. ie. 30 x 30 cm. The surrounding white border is proportional to the image size, so a larger print will have a larger border. These are noted in the Print Shop upon selection of your size. This is to allow framing without a Matboard which gives a more contemporary look. Therefore, a 30 x 30 cm image size will have a finished print size of 41cm H x 40cm W. If you would like a custom size white border, please note this in your Order.
Can I order custom sizes?
Yes, you can. I’m happy to offer a custom-sized print and/or extra white border, just send me the details and I’ll get back to you with pricing.
What type of paint do you use?
I use very high quality professional artist acrylics and oil paints. Sometimes I paint in acrylics and sometimes I paint in oils, depending on the mood of the painting.
Are your original paintings framed?
I like to frame my original paintings in either a raw, white or black Tasmanian Oak floating box frame depending on the best match for the painting. But if you prefer the unframed look, please let me know and if it hasn’t already been framed, I will be happy to give you a price.
Can you send artwork internationally?
Yes! My artwork can be sent internationally, stretched and framed via an international courier. Please email me for a quote. Unstretched and unframed prints are rolled and posted overseas in a large diameter high impact tube via Australia Post for a flat rate of $50.00 AUD.
